Personal Life Media
(via)New portal with blogs and podcasts supposedly aimed at the "boomer" generation. Some good lifestyle and environment content buried in with all the rest, so worth a look.

Cross Engine
(via)The web is full of search engines these days and overkill means most still use Google for simplicity. This site is well worth bookmarking though - it gives you an online multi-engine interface and subject refining in one. The only drawback is it's use of a frameset, although if you're doing a lot of research even that may be an advantage.

LiveLeak.com - Redefining the Media
by 2 othersAnother new portal in beta. It's notable today in that it shows the live execution of Saddam which at least confirms nobody ushered him away at the point where the official broadcasts stopped - a bit of a killjoy for conspiracy theorists! I really don't recommend watching that clip (unless you are still a disbeliever) but the site itself seems to be offering up a few interesting items. No doubt many clips are at YouTube and elsewhere, but Liveleak is refreshingly uncluttered by trivia.
Murdock sacrifices his lamb
(via)Okay, so who's bothered about OJ Simpson? Well - most of the gutter media it seems! That includes Rupert Murdock's media empire and the bad reception was a sign of his failing judgement. Own up? Not likely - just sack someone high profile and carry on regardless.
